Company Overview
Skyline Whitespace is an exhibition design and build company based in South West London delivering modular and custom exhibition stands across the UK and internationally. We are known for high-quality design, well-built stands, and reliable delivery onsite.
Job Summary
This is a standalone AV role responsible for establishing, running, and developing Skyline Whitespace’s in-house AV capability. Historically, AV for our exhibitions has been fully outsourced. We have recently invested in our own AV equipment and are now bringing this capability in-house for the first time. This role is key to making that transition successful.
The AV Technician will take full ownership of AV delivery across exhibitions, events, and the company showroom. The role covers the complete AV lifecycle, including content preparation, basic video editing, equipment testing, onsite installation, live operation, post-show checks, and ongoing maintenance.
You will be the internal point of contact for all AV-related activity, working closely with Operations, Project Management, and Design teams. The role requires someone comfortable working independently, making technical decisions, setting processes, and taking responsibility for outcomes in live event environments.

• Establish practical processes for AV preparation, content handling, testing, installation, and returns

• Pack AV equipment securely and ensure safe loading into company vehicles
Onsite Installation & Operation
• Deliver and install AV equipment at exhibition venues and event sites
• Configure and operate AV systems onsite, including signal routing, LED wall configuration, media playback, and sound checks
• Troubleshoot technical issues during setup and live operation, responding quickly to minimise disruption

• Clean, test, and re-shelve equipment correctly
• Carry out basic repairs and refurbishment to keep equipment in good working order
• Maintain accurate AV inventory records using FileMaker or similar systems
• Ensure AV equipment is stored safely, securely, and ready for redeployment
