Job Summary:
Are you an ambitious, driven individual looking to kick-start your career in sales? Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Executive and take on an essential role in expanding our client base within the exciting live events industry. You’ll connect with potential clients through outbound calls, introduce them to our services, and identify their needs. Your primary goal will be to generate and qualify leads, setting up high-value meetings for our sales team. This entry-level role offers excellent growth potential, with a clear path to becoming a Sales Account Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Actively engage with potential clients to identify new business opportunities and support outreach efforts to expand our client base.
- Lead Generation: Source and qualify leads from targeted lists, passing them along to Sales Account Managers for conversion.
- Inbound Lead Management: Follow up on incoming leads and identify potential for new business.
- Sales Training & Development: Participate in all training sessions to build knowledge of sales techniques, CRM systems, and the live events industry.
Key Performance Indicators - First 3 Months:
- Achieve a call volume of 40+ outbound calls per day to engage potential clients.
- Conversion Rate: Meet target conversion rates of qualified leads to the Sales Account Manager team.
- CRM Logging: Ensure all leads and conversions are accurately logged in our CRM.
- Meeting Goals: Support the team by scheduling 6 new business meetings in our showroom.

Additional Skills:
- Basic skills in presentation and proposal writing.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience is a bonus.
Working Conditions:
- 09:00 – 17:30 hrs based in SW19 2QA
- Travel: This role may require occasional travel to event venues, client meetings, and industry conferences.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a dynamic industry where priorities can shift quickly.
- Collaborative Workspace: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors to drive results.
